I believe there were four songs that the boys played only once each during the Europe 72 tour. Can you name them?

And can you name the only song [EDIT: actually two] that was [were] played at all 22 shows?

RULES: no databases or searches (though I did of course use databases to get the question right)

EDIT: Answers now in a reply below.

Has to be PITB or Truckin (every show).

The once each one is way too tough for me, without cheating. Hey Bo Diddley comes to mind ... no idea on the other 3.

Me and My Uncle or Mister Charlie every show
Alligator 1 time meant to put down caution which was probably a worse answer :)

I don't think Truckin' or Saturday Night were played at all 22 shows so I think Playin' is the only song played at every show on the tour.

The one timers are Hey Bo Diddley, Johnny B. Goode and Big River (which possibly was played twice). I believe Who Do You Love and Rockin' Pnumonia were each played twice.

By far the closest answer so far!

Yes to Playin', Big River, Hey Bo Diddley, and Johnny B. Goode.

One more played every night, and one more played only once.

I feel like Chinatown Shuffle could have been played at every single Euro '72 performance. That's my guess.

As for the one timers, I'll throw in Cryptical as guess.

Props to Cliff for getting both songs that were played in every show of the tour, and three of four songs that were played only once each.

Played every night: Mr. Charlie, Playin' in the Band

Played once: Big River (5-13), Johnny B. Goode (4-17), Hey Bo Diddley (5-23), Black Peter (5-24)

Interesting about Mr Charlie...one of my favs is from 8-6-71, the famed AUD version, but also, it's one of the tunes that shines via the clean RT version (eg, when some would suggest the more famous H2H does not sound better on the RTs disk).

I don't know how to describe that almost funky, choppy blues-esque sounding little ditty, but I thought the 71 versions were better than 72 (based on relatively little analysis, mind you)...with so many to choose from, now, and even moreso in eight months, you all will have to let me know if the spring 72 ones eclipse the summer of 71 versions...

I'm throwing in MAMU and El Paso (not Truckin) for every show.
